《一代大儒孙诒让》根据我市作家陈小萍、胡小远夫妇创作的长篇小说《末代大儒孙诒让》改编，是我国首部反映晚清著名朴学大师孙诒让的故事片，也是第一次将江南四大藏书楼之一《玉海楼》搬上银幕。影片讲述了孙诒让8岁直至61岁去世的历程，着重刻画了孙诒让发奋治学，破译甲骨文，完成《周礼正义》、《契文举例》等代表作，大力倡办教育，进行实业救国等事迹，其中还穿插描绘了孙诒让与夫人杨倚梅充满传奇性的爱情故事，让观众第一次从电影荧幕了解一。Three loosely connected love stories.
