门德松心中一直有一个武松情结，他很想通过自己的理解导演出一部真正的武松戏。碰巧真有一个大款愿意投资让他来拍这部戏，但这个投资人的很多媚俗的想法与门德松产生了剧烈的冲突。为了完成自己的梦想，门德松据理力争，对投资方的不合理要求毫不退让，险些造成拍戏的中途流产。后面发生的一切故事就在这样的激烈斗争中展开了。整部戏围绕着拍戏过程中的各种矛盾冲突，表达了现实与理想的巨大差距。导演采用灰色幽默的表现手法，将剧中形形色色的人物刻画的淋漓尽致。。Mandy is a mother, a writer, a nihilist.
